Countertop Cooking Reels

Clips and notes I keep open while cooking.

This is the quiet little site I leave running on the side display in the kitchen. It keeps the same reference clips, dinner notes, and repeat recipes in one place so I can scrub a technique without bouncing through giant recipe sites with autoplay and popups.

Full notes

Sheet-pan chicken piccata is staying in rotation

Better result when the capers go in after the tray comes out instead of roasting the whole time. I kept the sesame-greens clip open beside it because the finish texture was about the same level of looseness I wanted in the pan sauce.

Mushroom skillet pasta needed less stock than last time

Half a cup less stock gave a better gloss. I used the boiling-pot clip as a timer stand-in and let the pasta sit one minute off heat before adding greens.

Crepe batter finally rested long enough

Thirty minutes made the difference. The first two still tore, but after that the pan flow matched the old reference clip almost exactly.
